Tea(se)
Hmm.. How to clean out and soften the blood vessels via food? Stick the vegetables. See about sea hawthorne (I think that's the right name?) Look up Ray Mear's programs about nature, survival and old techniques and foods. Enjoy! Sea thorn is a plant that grows wild near the coasts of the british isles, and grows big orange, sour berries that stay on the plant a long time. He shows how to collect it in one of his shows. It's similar to using rose-hip for vitamin C complex. :)
Vitamin E and beautiful oils from it's flesh (hass). Almonds, gently roasted and soaked in good red wine, with maple syrup and christmas spices- dribble in a few cloves and crack some cinnamon stick into it.
Learn where your elderberry trees grow, pick the fruits, make and preserve your own juices..
... Eat with peace and great joy, and remember that your body is just a temporary dwelling, a temple, for your spirit and your maker's. Every meal you have is one eaten with him, in a simple holy tent meant to me moved about and built up and packed down when the call to the next season of your life is made.
Remember the table of shewbread (showbread) in the OT..? A dinner table. The sacrificial altar? A place to cook. The inner chamber? A place of peace, closeness and enjoyment with a best friend and powerful father. The outer wall of the tabernacle..? Made with goat's skin, right? Made of the same stuff our own skin and hair is made of. You probably already know what the biblical first temple is a picture of. :) There's certainly lots of layers to it..
But the best meal you can dream of is one eaten with a joyful, praiseful, and peaceful heart. Even a month on oatmeal is a blessing when you've got your eyes on the world called heaven!
Tea is an astringent and can dehydrate you a bit. You probably wanna look at the techniques used in asia to preserve it against fungal rot- It's not quite the same as what we get locally. I'm interested in looking into whatsort of herbs I can find locally to play teatime with, myself. :)
General rule of thumb, if you've gotta pee after drinking it, consider the matter carefully. Currently
Seasalt broths are making me feel really well-hydrated, and I like what I read about the mineral content of unwashed (grey atlantic)
Seasalt and pink himalaya salt. (4:1 ratio is good to go for, with sodium:potassium. Yay for your greens!)
Thank you for writing back :) Got another reply to read..
Bless!
