Hypertension during high blood sugar? (looking for science of why)

When my blood Sugar rises above about 9 (normal 3.5-6), I get hypertension- my blood runs, as if I were leaking, when I prick my skin for taking a glucose test.

I am using vitamin D3 and magnesium.

My diabetes was preceeded by basically 1 year of two dental Amalgam fillings, with a clear worsening of symptoms from one month after the very first filling (an unexplained fever, pain, and stiffness just under the ribcage).

I've had 15 years with the fillings.

I'm following a non-bread, non-sugar, alkilizing diet.
Thanks for thoughts on what's causing the dehydration and hypertension during high bloodsugars. :)
