Re: This can't be it.

Much of the problems with the endocrine system (impotence, low thyroid) comes from the immune response your body is putting out. Magnesium get lost in this situation as do all nutrients. Vitamin D levels are probably quite low and I would get this evaluated through blood testing, vitamin d is vital for immune health.

Sounds like you need to find a good doctor, try calling Dr. Kevin Cahill in NYC and see if they can help, he is a top rated parasitologist, ask for referrals if they cannot do anything. Dr. Wolfe in Washington DC is another you might contact. Or look for tropical disease specialists. This is obviously a case for prescription drug therapy so I would not rely on herbals to cure this. However black seed might be of some help since it is anti-microbial.

Typically people pick up amoebic parasites in Mexico but seeing that you are not complaining much in the gastro area and there appears to be skin issues, I don't think this would be the case. By the way you might want to contact Dr. Ralph D'angelo at ParaWellness Labs, he is an experienced parasitologist and may look at your sample. It is possible that you may have picked up e. histolytica which is an amoebic infection.

I would do as much nutritional therapy as I could including plenty of protein, b vitamins, vitamin c and the like. It is important to keep the body ramped up on nutrition to support the immune system and adrenal response.
