Re: Warning MEAL/FOOD talk

Hi Lili!

So right about the 2/3. I must admit I've been a little lax with that of late. I've developed a recipe for fruit bread
that includes tons of cranberries, apricots, figs (best for calcium!) dates, bananas, orange and lemon pulp and peel, flax, and on and on. (millet meal, spelt flour, oats...) No eggs, and coconut oil for fat--so it's really healthful, medicinal-like.(as in "let your food be your medicine"). The upshot is, I often eat more than one piece. However, the up-NOTE is, I almost always only eat during that five hour evening window. So I'm only having one meal-ish a day, and then fasting until the next evening.

Truth is, I feel BETTER fasting, than I do eating, and I'm in the curious mid-place of trying to figure out how to survive, no thrive, in a wintery city, while feeling summery. I'm really constitutionally suited, it feels, to living on flowers and microgreens and salads, and juice, and very little of the heavier food. (heavier meaning starches like rice, millet, and pulses.) But it is so good, in these chilly months--the fruit bread,I mean. That, and a bowl of soup, or some "oven salad" as we call it--wilted greens with some tamari, pineapple vinegar and oil. mmm. Hope you are well!
