Re: Lipid Bilayer - Overnight Solution - WORKING
OK. Interesting post - I understand why you are fully concerned with Lecithin. I too am also concerned by these indications - and has slightly worried me about using the supplement!
But this is essentially the road to enlightenment for all of us (including me).
Rather than the specific focus on being Lecithin, the main purpose of the supplementation/ application of choline and lecithin, was to PROMOTE the CREATION and eventual EXCRETION of the HYDROPHOBIC BILAYER.
If we can find a safer way of creating this bilayer, I am all for it. Please note, over intake of any compound or element - including oxygen can be harmful or even fatal.
Please see:

And the corresponding paper overview:

In regards to sebaceous glands, this should help:

So, when the sebaceous glands are blocked - the dead skin cells and also the hydrophobic excretions never reach the skin surface. When a holocrine gland is destroyed, it releases its contents, and another replaces it - but what occurs if it does not? I think it may simply gradually grow - hence we have Fordyce spots.
Therefore replicating the normal and natural lipid bilayer/ excretions is key to replacing the lost aquophobic membrane.
Please see, regarding the lipid ratio:

Then see the composition of the lipid membrane:

These actually look very promising:
