I just read the answers link you posted that sparked this idea. It includes " If you have chapped lips, keeping moisture out speeds up the healing process."
There is a little debate whether or not one should keep the lips moisturized to heal them. Personally, my lips or wound was not able to heal while they were moisturized. It could not close up the skin. My lips finally healed with treatment that kept my lips dry. Although this lecithin makes my lips feel moisturized, I do not think I would get the white gunk on lips that comes from wetness or moistness of most moisturizers.
Have you had any blood test done to see if you have a fatty liver? My liver enzymes are normal, but my cholesterol has always been borderline high. I had an ultrasound, which did not show a fatty liver. But I read one does not always have a fatty liver with this deficiency.
