Re: Seriously Constipated...please advise
Hi,
Can you be Magnesium deficient? Are you taking any? Mag Malate and Mag Glycinate help tremendously (600 -1000mg in deficient state)
Potassium can be low as well. If your Mag is low, then Potassium is low usually. Potassium glycinate can help, or at least potassium gluconate.
coffee enema is a win-win for gut and liver. It detoxifies both (though you can use organic coffee only!!!)
GAPS diet helped me a lot. 5 months into it and I have really improved.
Probiotics would be a must for you! Constipation is sometimes cause by the lack of friendly bacteria in colon. Start with small amounts and work your way up. Even better to make them at home (sourkraut, kefir, kombucha, kvass).
Wheat and commercial (not home-made kefir or yogurt) can make you constipated.
Fresh juices should also help.
If all fails, then as an extreme measure - Urine Therapy. Sounds disgusting, but UT saved a lot of lives. In this case you don't have to drink it. Enema with urine usually resolves even bad constipation cases.
Hope it helps
