It is just so crazy to me that this can happen! I was fortunate that 1) my reactions were not too severe and 2) that I carry an Epi-pen for my environmental allergies and my daughter's food allergies as well. I mean, had it happened to someone who does not carry an epi already, that would have been death within minutes.

I'm trying to stick with the gluten free diet, as I feel better overall on it. I just thought it was odd that my body would practically punish me for eating it while I had the Mirena ( 4th of July I had a burger w/ bun and two beers, spent the next day curled up in bed). And now, my body doesn't seem to react half as bad. Tweet
