Re: I wanna knock out this pressure and pain now...

well tbh ive never posted on unyquity's forums before, so i dont know what most people agree on for 'what works and what doesnt'

a friend of mine always had serious pains after consuming any quantity of grains. he always just said 'its just my diverticulitis' and kept injecting his insulin alongside a bowl of lucky charms every morning.

so anyways, i can only bring up the fact that that many males, myself included, seriously neglect(ed) the importance of clean and healthy skin. i have heard it called your '3rd kidney' before. your skin eats and breathes. free chlorine in water is just one of many problems, and upon contact with the skin soaks in and reacts with whatever it hits first. dont neglect the importance of (epsom) salt baths, cheap and effective skin maintenance. dont forget that application of essential oils on the skin will soak down into the deeper tissues. my feet were disgustingly covered in thick callous and a strong ammonia smell, until i started using essential oils to clean them regularly.

i have also started using kombucha and milk kefir grains lately, and i have never been so impressed with anything as much as milk kefir, however a friend of mine from the cz forums has severe reactions to it.

being poor is tough, but if you look for the small changes you can make, not only in your diet, but in your everyday style of living, you can find ways to make big improvements. if i have to eat some garbage food like a frozen pizza, i cover it liberally with fresh garlic. i find ways to make my own sauces to compliment bad foods, buy 'soup starters' and add fresh herbs, spices, and veggies.

just because you are poor doesnt mean you have to eat terribly. i used to take plain mustard from the store and mix it with cayenne pepper, now i mix all my sauces and dips from scratch. everything just takes time, find something small to start with everyday, and dont give up.
