Substantial progress has been made in the development of probiotics, probiotics, and synbiotics, which are reported to be effective in increasing and maintaining lactic acid bacteria (LAB) in the intestine (20). Previous studies have suggested that Lactobacillus spp., Bifidobacterium spp., and Bacillus subtilis can be used to increase and maintain beneficial bacteria in the intestine.
