Re: herniated disc and stenosis

Well,I can snswer you again. Chiropractic treatment will help to keep the pressure off the bulge that is causing the spinal fluid some impediment, but I lost my regular chiropractor and th enext one did a different procedure. He also worked with th e lower back that has the Lumbar curve. Many years ago that had been operated on for a herniated disc and has done fusing on it' sown after complete disc degeneration. The stenosis came back in the neck. Very painful, but seems it gets a little better as the months go by if you use ice on the area a few times a day.

Doc allso told me that he has many patients who have had slipped discs that have ruptured. After they rupture, as closely as I can put it to his explanation, the bulge is no longer activating the nerve pain and people live pain-free lives after that. However it does seem to be that the stenosis is still there causing a lot of pressure that affects all the organs, goes down the legs to the feet and causes lots of sharp pains when the pressure lets off as you're lying down after walking or being on your feet for a while.

Don't know what the answer is quite yet as I'm still suffering. A disc can appear to be healed, then cause more problems because of some degeneration there. "Just keep the vertebrae lined up" is all I can say. That decreases a lot of pain.

Make some bone soup to get enough minerals to supply healing with. Or do minerals that are plant-based. A product called Heal n soothe might help as it has enzymes, pain killers and anti-inflammatories in it or do the BF & C capsules. Ice packs, never heat to stabilize the joint. I go to bed at night with them on.

Haven't seen that Doc is doing much on here anymore, but you can hear from the ones who e-mail him who have worked wtih him. Your choice is to e-mail him, yourself. Get a good chiropractor who uses the Thompson table and hands-on technique, knows how to adjust C 1 & 2 properly, and take any x-rays to them or MRI's you've had for them to go by. If one isn't respectful of your pain and problem, seek out another one who is and who has had a few years of experience.

Oh, make sure you drink enough distilled water as that will help the discs, too.
