Re: herniated disc and stenosis
To Hanna and Snoopy, too.
I just posted in this thread about the Pain and Stress Center working with people who have a lot of pain and the stress and depleted amino acids that goes with it.
The amino acids really do work. Phenalalanine is for pain. If you're taking any drugs, of course the natural stuff is over-ridden and you won't feel as much relief. Your own natural endorphins have to come into play and any pain med stops them from functioning, poisons the body (and liver), and if you take them for any length of time, it takes a while for your natural endorphins (natural body pain killers) to kick in after dropping the med.
I took their BNCG and taurine (plus you want the natural B6 to go with it) over time--like about 3 solid months and I could see my tolerance for pain was much improved. Amino acids re-build and also detoxify. I think Dr. Sahley knows what she's doing with this. She helped me a lot.
I've tried the serrapeptase for 4 days and can't see a difference in discomfort in the cervical discs from it. It may be a little constipating or it many be just my own personal reaction to the stuff.
I hope there's something here you can take from my experience that will help both of you.
I stayed in pain for many years until about 12 years ago when I found Dr. Sahley. A slipped disc is painful and this won't work to get rid of all the pain, (a chiropractor has to help with that) but I've found amino acids help.
If it's chronic pain, probably Barefoot's spray will help. I have to get some and try it and see. If it's a new injury Doc says to always use the cold packs.
