Chette, although I have not studied all this much myself, I am trying to understand, and I agree with what all you just said, I think, except maybe going KJV only, that's another whole subject.

I was just looking at Mark 16, the very end:

16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

My thought is that we do not need a confirmation of the word with signs any longer. The word has long been confirmed.

Maybe this is something you've already said in another post.
