Re: Wolff–Chaikoff was wrong?

I'm guessing that there are 33 drops in 1 mL of lugol's which would equate to 206.25 mg of iodine/iodide or 82.5 mg of iodine and 123.75 mg of iodide. Multipy by 2 and that would be 165 mg of iodine and 247.5 mg iodide.

Assuming that 1 drop = 2.5mg iodine and 3.75 mg iodide.

180 mg of iodine should be giving adverse effects, according to wolff.

The 100 mL must be a typo because that would be more than 3 oz's of lugol's per day.
