Re: Copper Toxicity and dark ring around iris

I don't think I'm understanding this, iodine is also needed for hair to remain its natural color...

After I began taking Lugol's I saw a slight darkening of my hair in some areas, but it was not progressive.  But one thingn I did notice this past year, in which I've become pretty intolerant of iodine so I take it rather infrequently now, and that is that the same areas of my hair haved have seen my hair have become grayer again.

For years I believed what Adelle Davis said regarding hair color and stress as mine began turning after a period of serious stress when I was 26, and I noticed that with each following stressful time I'd get more gray hairs, she said PABA was needed for hair to return to its color but it was very limited in supplements so I thought maybe that's why I had not had any success.  I did start taking zinc many years ago because it is consumed during times of stress.  Anyway, I'm now kind of confused...
