To past CAHILL E HISTOLYTICA patients, could you please give me your thoughts?

Could you please fill me in a little on your journey since treatment.

I too was recently diagnosed with EH by Dr Cahill. Got done with the meds (P & D) just last Tues. My symptoms were improving the last few days on the meds (last 4 days on the meds I had 'normal' stools. Had forgotten such a thing existed. Hadn't had in decades) but then seem to have somewhat returned after I got done with the medication. Just saw him again and he could not detect any EH, although, being that it is still so soon after the meds, it could be a false negative.

Would you mind sharing your experience after getting done with the medication. Did you get rid of the EH? IF so, how long did it take you to recover? Did you ever test positive for Blasto? I had Giardia about a decade ago and at the time they mentioned that I also had Blasto. I know how some of you guys feel about Blasto but with my symptoms not better, I'm wondering what's going on.

My symptoms have been: (Some have diminished. Some are worse.)
Appendix pain
Skin rashes
Acid reflux
fatigue
joint pain
loose stools
back pain
intestinal pain
Can't do wheat, starchy food, fruit, etc
...to name a few. (:

Had a lot of SCD 24 hour yogurt through the meds, and am continuing that. Now wondering if the dairy is causing leaky gut and maybe that should go.

Anyway, I would appreciate it if you would share how you have progressed since diagnosis and treatment.
