Fasting for weight loss can be very difficult. When you fast, you slow down your metabolism and when you go back to eating, you will gain weight much quicker. This is what causes the cycle of gaining MORE weight back when going on diets or fasting. For you, it sounds like a better way to go would be something like starting to add in more raw foods to your diet. These will actually increase your metabolism and help to burn fat, eat tons of fresh fruit and vegetables that taste good to you. Learn to enjoy the simple tastes of these foods and you will no longer have a desire for other types of foods. My personal opinion is that fasting should be for those who want to cleanse the body, it is not an appropriate method for weight loss, but could work for some I guess.
