Hang in there. If it's any comfort, we all know what you're going through. Just keep moving forward and trying what seemed to have helped other people on here. There are other causes for the BO besides TMAU. It's just trying to figure out what will help us.

Went two my internists and he told me that usually bad breath is due to mouth problems eventhough I told him I've been to two dentists and get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. When I told him my odor can fill a whole room that's when he asked me if it wasn't in my mind. (same comment we all seem to get)
He acted like he didn't smell a thing.

Then I went with my gyno and it was obvious my odor offended him.

I've been having pain on my lower left quadrant of my abdomen, feel bloated, have gas, do thin poop, and am constipated. For sure I have hemorrhoids but wonder if all the straining hasn't caused me to have diverticulitis. I'm scheduled for a sigmoidoscopy on Tuesday and we'll see what that shows up.
