What a great article. It gives you a different perspective on prayer and repentance. He's right, what drives us to sin is not feeling God anymore, allowing ourselves to forget and settling for little substitutes for an indescribable life and eternity God is waiting to bless us with both here and in ages to come.
I think Christians would be wise to remind each other of those realities all the time. But not in some namby pamby way we hear constantly. No wonder we forget. But, we should use words, scripture and pictures that evoke a feeling of the reality, and bring the Holy Spirit into our midst when 2 or more of us gather. Like the article just did for me (:
