Re: Get moderators who understand - good attitudes
Indeed, a good forum should most definitely allow differing points of view and opinions to come forward, but when these same points of view/opinions challenge and dispute the knowledge accrued over eons of time based on experience or “empirical knowledge” or “a posteriori knowledge”, then this needs to corrected. This often results in insults, intimidation, personal abuse and futile arguments.
As DQ has stated, much of the
Science of yesterday has become the nonsense of today, and much of the Medical
Science of today will become the nonsense of tomorrow, but there are many tenets of knowledge that will remain steadfast and immutable: indisputable facts that some people are unable to accept because it challenges their brainwashed and preconceived Mainstream-opinions/belief systems, and also perceived by them to be a direct confrontation/attack on themselves personally.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The bottom line is: results have more to do with RESULTS rather than
Science alone.
