Re: Get moderators who understand - good attitudes

arn,

I agree that there is a lot of rubbish on CureZone, but I suspect not nearly as much as you'll find on JREF (http://forums.randi.org/) and similar "skeptic" forums. I, for one, accept that an open forum like this will get inputs from people with disparate beliefs and who's really to say what's right or wrong? We can only put our arguments forward for the members to consider using their intellect and intuition.
As I'm fond of repeating, it's the results that count and as I'm slowly beginning to accept, results have more to do with belief than science, at least as we commonly perceive science.

I disagree with you on the importance of a moderator's understanding of a subject as the proper role of the moderator should be to monitor proper conduct according to the rules. I've been in discussions on other forums where the moderators stepped in strongly with their opinions which caused me to question their impartiality and effectiveness as a moderator.

I do agree with you that moderators should have a good attitude and, if I was asked, I'd say that from some of your recent posts, your attitude would not be of the quality I'd expect from a moderator. Perhaps you'd be different with a bit of responsibility on your shoulders?

Regards,
NH...
