Q. what caused the bone infection in the first place and where is it located.
A. The bone infection was caused by a slip of a needle during a root canal gone wrong. The dentist performing the procedure was trying to force a needle between the two teeth when she slipped and drove the needle deep into the bone. My take is that this introduced bacteria into the bone and began the entire affair.
The infected bone is located in the lower mandible at the left mandibular first molar.
That being said, my latest biopsy showed my infection has turned fungal. :(
