Re: Been lurking awhile, just wondering
Hypothyroidism is the "disease du jour," just like bipolar was a few years ago. They use it to explain away anything they can't diagnose. It's like fibromyalgia, which is a made-up disease name to try to explain away chronic muscle pain. I think most fibro and
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome is caused by parasites. I had them both.
I wasn't trying to call anyone out, just saying that it seems that there is always some "popular" disease that everyone jumps on the bandwagon with.
I was told the same thing, that the
parasites were causing all my problems, and they did all improve when I started getting rid of the parasites. I've been cleansing for years, and I don't think I'll ever be completely well, but I'm much healthier than I was when I was retching every day and screaming from the horrible pains all over my body. None of that anymore.
I remember once they said magnesium deficiency was the cause of fibro and CFS, now it's vitamin D deficiency. They just don't know what it is, and they won't accept the
parasite diagnosis, because that is too easy to fix, and then they'd not have patients coming to them for years and years while they get worse and worse.
