Re: EMERGENCY! My raw/vegan friend is very ill!

Hey all, just wanted to thank everyone for their comments on my post. Also wanted to post an update on my friend, first of all, I'm tempted to name names and mention the name of the scumbag who my friend worships, who recommends the 90-10-10 diet, who I sent a private message to on his facebook page just asking him if he would consider calling my friend and talking with him to see if he could help... his response was absolute silence, and immediately blocked me from his Facebook page so I could not post anything on his page. What a lousy, low class coward. Well, I can't name names but his initials are "Dr." Douglas Graham, a real class act. Ok, as for my friend, I heard that my friend out of desperation finally called a well known Natural Hygiene doc, who's wise and considered response was for to him to "fast for one week, then eat fruit, then try some juiced veggies". Well, I liked the part about the juiced veggies, but MF thought it sounded "disgusting" so didn't do it. Last notice is that he found himself in excruciating pain one morning, so bad that he agreed to be taken to the hospital where they did an endoscopic exam and found.. .guess what? A bad pyloric ulcer in his stomach. He's had a surgery and is doing "ok" though I would not want to be the nurse that tries to feed him "hospital food" haha. Well, I'm hoping this trip to the hospital knocks some sense into him, one poster was right he has a bad case of "reality denial" regarding being malnourished. Also I think his central nervous system is damaged from so many years of too much fruit, I'll be seeing him soon, will do my best but he will have to choose his own path, as do we all. Thanks ya'll.
