Re: EMERGENCY! My raw/vegan friend is very ill!
I be part of the et al. Don't know where Doc is right now.
Not being able to hold food down and losing weight sounds like he needs to get on Barefoot's LBB pronto and open up his digestive tract. Then start Barefoots dewormer--his PW/A, if he doesn't have amalgams--otherwise the regular original formula and in 5 days to a couple of weeks start doing liver flushes. Been there. The symptoms sound very familiar. It's a long haul, but this program is a life-saver. 56 isn't old enough to die.
The apple cider is very good for the liver. I lived on that and grass-fed beef liver for the first year of doing this program. He needs protein. Very depleted in all nutrients. The condition of his colon says he's not getting much for nutrients. Meat is sometimes necessary to build a person up enough so they can tolerate the time it takes to detox. That's just my opinion. I'm not a big meat eater, myself, but use eggs, some meat, whole raw milk and Sunwarrior protein to help me get some strenth even now. Always the Celtic salt for minerals, dulse for the thyroid, Cataplex B for adrenals and distilled water, only.
"One man's bread is another man's dead", so he needs to get his colon open and eat what makes him feel good, then get that liver opened up and cleaned out.
Try the exercise Doc gave me in the beginning. Lay on your left side, massage genly under the liver for a minute or so, then raise the right arm up over the head. repeat until you hear some gurgling sounds that means the liver is emptying.
Doesn't mean much what the diet is these days, IMO, REALLY. Bugs are everywhere. We can get them because of being exposed to the solvents.
Bugs HATE salt. I soak my veggies in salt water before I really wash them for either a salad or cooking.
