Re: What are the most strongest natural chelators?

Be careful with those megadoses of iodine!

For those who are trying to do Cutler's Protocol I'll mention that Iodine is not a part of the protocol. In his hair test book he warns about symptoms of high iodine.

I've been in the large yahoo chelation groups for a couple of years and almost no one takes more than small amounts of iodine. I also have been doing that for many years for my mild hypoglycemia symptoms. I have seen hair tests from a couple of people who used high dose iodine. Yes their hair Iodine was high.

Also Cutler does not indicate that Iodine is a chelator of heavy metals. I'd be interested to see information to suggest that it does and that it does so *safely*

There are also concerns about using large amounts of the potassium form of iodine. Check out the last paragraph here.

I don't use their iodine product but I have used their Thyroid Helper product daily for over 5 yrs with really nice effects on my late afternoon "slump".

Best regards,

Joe
