10 day DF done ends in a couple of hours - some thoughts

Just left the doctors and he recommended that I get some electrolytes into me. Said they were really low. He suggested - he wrote a prescription for some thing like Gatorade.
I plan to just re-hydrate with water initially and then diluted fresh coconut water. A friend is bring me a gallon today and 3 gallons tomorrow. Along with 3 pounds of baby coconut jelly - yum. I plan to rehydrate until Saturday and if my electrolytes are back to normal I will go on to my Water Fast on Sunday.
This DF was one of the easiest and hardest things I have ever done. Easiest because I had a lot of energy and got a lot done around the house. I cleaned, did laundry - although the stuff I was was not even dirty to begin with - lol, exercised - walks, trampolining and yoga, read, meditated and just had a great productive time. Hardest because even though I was not thirsty I was plagued by water cravings. Probably exacerbated because I had no skin contact in any way with water. Lack of sleep - the worse part of all. Also makes it hard to leave the house and be around others because I was super self conscious about not brushing my teeth ( although my breath never smelled bad in the slightese or bathing ( strong bo under the arms and then I started smelling like oranges the last few days), etc.
I had some mild aches but no pain. Peed quite a bit - about 3/4 of what I would in my regular non fasting life.
What made things easier - the Green Tara and White Tara mantras. Look them up on youtube - they are great for taking your mind of the slowness of time and believe me - around day 4 time starts to crawl. I mean molasses in winter pace. Going for walks in the late pm or early am when it is cool. Skin brushing. Having things to do like lots of books and crossword puzzles etc. Focusing on reasons for doing this and goals you want to reach.
Hardest Days - probably day 7. On day 7 I wanted to quit so bad. My every thought was water, water, water.
Day 9 was hard too - not because water thoughts were there because by then they had almost disappeared. No Day 9 was bad because at 1 point I found myself at the fridge with a open bottle of water in my had about to take a sip. I had no idea how I even got there. I do not recall walking to the kitchen. Fortunately I had not tipped the bottle yet so no harm.
I am hoping that this plus my first DF have worked to resolve my thyroid cyst. It has reduced somewhat. I hope it is gone totally after this one.
