Re: Top supps.
Hi uM,
>>It is great that you get most of your vitamins from a food source!
Food sources of vitamins is what I try to obtain, but I take a multi-mineral due to soil depletion. But, it's not always easy to do it that way and I don't eat perfect.
>> wished I could afford the Green Pastures butter oil that is taunted to have the best way to get k2 mk4, vitamin A with the 5 to 1 ratio to D.
Look for local co-ops and farmers that sell to public. There are many Internet sites with plenty of information on getting RAW pastured butter. Even whole foods has organic, pastured butter now, but it's expensive comparatively to organic, non pastured.
I don’t take Vitamin E at the same time because it is an antagonist to K. However getting it from food you are safe from my studies of the subject,

Caution: people who take blood thinners such as Coumadin or heparin should not take vitamin K without consulting their doctor.

Vitamin E acts like a blood thinner if you take 800 IU per day or more.

The MK-7 form of Vitamin K2 is well researched as preventing bone loss in Japan via natto, but the maximum pill size is 100 mcg to 135 mcg for the reason that some find MK-7 very stimulating to their heart and makes it impossible to sleep. Since MK-7 is the bacterial form of Vitamin K2, the body doesn't handle it as fast and it can build up over 30 days to stimulating levels so you need to be aware of this. {For example, taking three of the 500 mcg MK-4 and 100 mcg MK-7 pills would give 300 mcg of MK-7 each day which might well give some people harmless but very annoying heart palpitations.}
I believe two of the 4 ingredients in Life Extensions is K2 mk4 1000 mcg’s and 100 mcg’s of K2 Mk7. Since you just took it once a day I don’t see how the Mk7 could have affected you so badly? Maybe you have enough K2 already made in your own system.
Just Thinking had a problem taking k2 mk4,5 Milligrams with her K2 Mk7 so she just does the Mk7 now and is happy.
Actually I was thinking of trying the K2 Mk7 version but I absolutely KNOW MK4 works for me and several other family and friends.
One lady has the Thorn’s Brand liquid K2 Mk4 and took 1 drop 3 times a day. Each drop was 1 milligram or 1000 mcg’s and 4 months later her calcification blood levels dropped by 90%. This stuff is 62 dollars for 1 oz about 350 to 400 drops I think.?
This liquid has a sweet taste much like a honey dew or honey suckle but different.
The Carson’s brand K2 5 mg’s and American Research Product K2 15 mg’s that I bought 3 years ago had the same wonderful sweet smell and the product was VERY powerful!
The Carson’s and American Research Product each do not have the sweet smell that I bought recently and the product seems weaker too me.
>>Sorry, if you think I was bashing you in some way.
I didn't think any such thought. :)
I was just curious, nothing more…
I leave you with a very relaxing song… for your time.
Be well,

Thanks for sharing all that information. I was able to look up your prior posts addressing Vitamin K2 as well here on CZ.
I'm thinking of re-trying K2 in MK-7 form without other forms in the sub-100mcg dosages after reading this: http://www.drpasswater.com/nutrition_library/Schurgers2.html
