I did not know that either. I will say there is alot I did not know especially at the time of my diagnosis. Definatly would not have learned half of what I have if I would have just accepted that diagnosis and said ok. And I probably would have if they could have given me a reason, Not just well your diabetic! To me that is the poorest answer and can not imagine the people out there who just listen and do not take control over their health. I have other health issues and know that they are most likely related. The body was created as a whole body, Not in pieces, Meaning it all should work together and if one thing is off, It's like a dominos effect. Modern medicine doesnt generally look at the body like this. Not because they dont want to but because they are only taught what they are taught and most never look beyond that. So happy for the doctors out there that do try to educate themselves further.
