That would have made me feel rough too. And sounds like far too much variety, far too quickly. Esp. as you were not even inspired to eat, but following some other impulse. It never works to travel in two boats, so to speak.
In fact, I too did break at 29 days with watermelon, and felt like crap, to put it bluntly. It had no flavour, for one thing, and just tasted too much like fake sugar. It did not digest well, and it took me more than two weeks thereafter to feel like I had any real energy return.
(longish) Fast two, I wanted to avoid the spitting crisis of the first longish one, and broke at 21 days with, I'm somewhat embarrassed to say, but I craved it hugely- a V8 with lime, and it was totally delicious. (Proving that genuine desire to eat counts for a lot. *Either that, or breaking on an "upswing", at least. And yes--lots of Fletcherizing": chewing; and mixing of saliva with the juice, which wakes up the whole digestive process. "True hunger" of the ravenous, unremitting sort, that we all would like to experience, after a
Water Fast might take many of us some time.) I sipped a tiny can's worth, like a bee sipping at nectar.
That re-feeding went much better. Had I been in your shoes, I would have tried to quit with some very mild broth, and then done very little of that, for a few days at least.
