Re: Eating before true hunger returns is disgusting
It takes time. I have been fasting for 8 years and with every fast it gets better and every year it gets better and better.
Many people have 20 to 40 years accumulation of waste in thier bodies and brains. It takes time and perseverance to get rid of junk.
I am now on an extended fast and walked two miles on the beach yesterday. I counted the steps, 2000 steps each way, over 4000 steps total, every 2000 steps is about one mile.
8 years ago while eating a 'gourmet organic diet' I could not walk 25 to 30 feet without needed to sit and rest or falling into sheer exhaustion. I walked the 4000 plus steps yesterday with ease.
The old US Health Secretary General Everett Coop suggested Americans should walk 10,000 steps a day. 10,000 steps a day is 5 miles. The government website says use a pedometer to count steps I prefer to just count steps as I walk.
Take fasting day by day, if your tired, go to sleep, if you have energy walk, do stuff. It took me 8 years of fasting, 40 days plus at a time to get enough health to walk 4000 steps/ 2 miles easily. Your trying and doing the best you can, just take it day by day.
My goal is to walk 3 miles/6000 steps, then 4 miles/ 8,000 steps, then 5 miles/10,000 steps, on the beach without tiring. I do not push myself. I just pay attention while fasting and watch what I eat and what I don't eat and keep a journal of effects and any reactions. Once I broke a long fast with chili rellanos cheese stuffed hot peppers and for two days it felt like I had a bomb in my gut. I will NOT make that mistake again.
I like coconut milk and coconut water as a beverage, soup, broth, cold or warm tea drink after any fast. Good luck.
