Eating before true hunger returns is disgusting
I have some major things to take care of for the next week and can't be weak so I decided this would be the perfect time to refeed for 7 days and then continue my fasting journey as of March 8th. So yesterday at the end of day 41 I began refeeding. I started with 1
oz of
Watermelon juice every hour, a few small pieces ( about 1 ozs) of
Watermelon every 2 hours and then 2 slices of orange at 5pm. Well I thought I was going to die. The juice sat heavy in my stomach, after a bit but I learned to ignore it. The worst part was the orange. I passed out after I ate it - lol. Came to about 30 minutes later on the kitchen floor. Dragged myself to the couch and just laid there. Too much
Sugar rush. I spent the whole night fighting the temptation to induce vomiting. Thankfully I got through yesterday. I am going to stick to juice only today and see how my stomach fares.
I just can't understand those folks who break long term fasts with steak and chicken and such. They must really have cast iron stomachs. I'm kinda jealous of that. Not that I want to eat steak nor chicken but that their systems can ignore that kind of disruption.
