Re: psyllium or slippery elm

Psyllium can do many things. For example:

For those not eating, or eating very little, psyllium absorbs water and swells, and forms a physical mass, so the person still has bowel movements.

When you get psyllium, put a spoonful in a glass of water, stir, and see what happens. That will make it clearer.

You will also discover, it is easier if you take it quickly, before it absorbs much water.

Psyllium carries wastes and toxins out of the body.

Psyllium can also be used for healing ulcers in the gastrointestinal system.

It can also be used for diarrhea, with other herbs.

If a person is eating an adequate amount and experiencing constipation, slippery elm is ideal.
