Hey thanks for the reply. I am fasting in hopes to help PCOS which is caused by insulin resistance. Great advice about the naturopath- I actually have spoken to my naturopath about this. I went to him on my second day of fasting and he was hesitant at first to support it but then basically after I told him why, how, and what i have researched he decided I seemed very knowledgeable and he is going to allow it but he wants me to come in and give urine specimens so that he can keep tabs on me to make sure I'm still doing fine, even if i am done fasting by the time i give the urine specimin. So that is what I am going to do, i will give one next week. As far as number of days I do not have a goal- my goal was to fast until i felt it was time to stop. I dont feel it is time to stop yet, however if the weakness doesnt subside in 2 or 3 more days i will probably quit.
Also one of the other replies said moving around helps the weakness which actually i have found to be true. If i have to do something like go to the store i can walk around with no real problem, just gotta take it slow. So i'll also try moving around a bit more and stretching, etc, and see if that helps.
