Lolite, you have a lot of good information in your post! Thank you! I will look up the lobelia and the primal defense, as well as Swanson copy. I have been taking up to 50 billion cfu probiotics per day for over a year, with no real change. But I will keep taking it.

The attacks that come on me resemble somewhat what you describe, with a lot of gas. But interestingly, I don't have cramps with these particular episodes. They involve gas, exteme nausea, extreme fatigue, and I can hear and feel things lurching and shifting around in my stomach, trying to get settled. The next day, there is no tenderness.

Also, I tried lemon juice the other day and got one of these "attacks" just from the lemon juice. (Nausea, severe ibs, fatigue, shaking, emergency trips to the bathroom).

Wow, that is neat that a greens salad like you described does the trick for you! I would long to say the same!

Greens are one thing that surely bring on these ibs/nausea "attacks." Other things that trigger these attacks are fruits, (lemon juice), dairy, too much oil on foods, or foods with a little more fat than I'm used to.

It's confusing to me that greens and lemon help you with a gall bladder attack, but make me feel worse. Makes me think it may be something other than gall bladder?
