Thanks for your reply, it did seem like the veggie incident triggered the whole ordeal which is why I mentioned it but it was weird that I would seem fine until drinking kefir again. I was thinking that maybe I still have a large amount of bad bacteria left in my guts from the bad veggies I ate and they don't act up until I drink kefir (maybe they are battling it out) but I don't know how likely that really is. It also seemed strange that my symptoms would get progressively worse with each batch.
As for the milk, I use the regular store bought whole milk (rbst free) since I don't have access to raw milk where I live.
I've never heard of anything like it either. I tried researching it and the only thing that kept coming up was how kefir helped prevent/relieve diarrhea, not cause it. Maybe I would have better luck with water kefir.
