Hormone level fluctuations affect the gallbladder. Since the IUD messes up our hormones, it is not surprising that so many Mirena uses have digestive issues. I use digestive bitters to help with liver function (and since the liver breaks down excess hormones, bitters help with hormonal balance). With gallbladder problems, it also helps to have regular, but small amounts of healthy oils with meals. Lecithin granules are also good to help with this.
