They even wanted him on Amiodarone, (heart med with radioactive Iodine ) luckily he managed to say no for once. I have given him imputs but he wants to follow his docs. For some it is better to put the responsibility away.

Yes, even being pregnant is a "disease" these days, and when the children are born they want to give them 30 something shots in a few years.
All in medcare tried to scare me when I said no to vaccines and such, they tried every tactic available (trying to make me feel like a bad mom, worst ever) Luckily my ex-husband stood at my side at these choices, so we made it through.
(I know it is not as easy in US, over here it is not mandate, only "recommended")
