Re: Any negative affect from the CE's?

Udo:

I hope my input doesn't discourage you in any way. But I'd like to share my observations just from what you said in your post.

If you're dealing with migraines, CE's will NOT address the condition in your liver that's causing the migraines. Migraines are caused from a specific "heat" condition of the liver that's rising to the head and causing internal pressures on the brain. In Chinese terms, you have liver yang rising. CE's won't address that condition.

Have you tried an extract of feverfew herb? If that doesn't help take the edge off the migraines within a week, it's not going to help and you need additionally blended herbs. (You can take twice the amount suggested on the label depending on your weight.)

Also, if you suffer from sluggish bowel movements, it means that, besides the heat congestion which causes the migraines, you may also have a sluggish liver which would also require a good tonic. A good liver tonic would work along with the feverfew in clearing the heat within a week of using. I don't enough about you at this point to suggest a liver tonic, but try the feverfew first. Remember, you don't need to take herbs forever in order for them to work.

Just my opinion.
