This is difficult to explain. Those with above average endocrine, liver and candida problems usually find it more difficult.
Those who are borderline sane are difficult to help via a message board! I end up spending inordinate amounts of time with them trying to keep them from doing dangerous things (ie skipping night doses) and actually doing basic things correctly.
Some actually do better on round and so will do long rounds. The majority of these folks seem to be using DMPS. I can't say I understand why this happens.

Yes, but you'd probably be wise to do a few rounds with DMPS or DMSA to clear blood levels prior to adding ALA. It also helps to get a feel for your response to one of the chelators before you add a second.
