You have time visiting this forum. I have read you and believe you are an smart guy able to pick up true information. I will tell you the best thing that place has is the severe restrictive diet. But, they have a lot of things wrong. They are in kinder regarding to many things. Claiming probiotics colonize the gut or cure candida is a false statement. They don't offer permanent colonization, and it is proved by science. Also, the friendly flora don't kill yeast but its presence inhibit the fungus growth. There are living yeast in every people gut even when a healthy flora is present.
Another thing I read wrong was advising DMSA as a first line of chelation to candida sufferers. It is a crazy idea. DMSA causes neutropenia (LWBC) and shouldn't be advised to people with severe candida problems. They even not mention ALA and DMPS. As well as this, there were false statament about the saliva test, antifungal rotation, etc.
Yes, its diet is very restrictive and that gives fast results. I have been there but don't want to be all my life there. As soon as you begin eating again, you will see the monster dancing again. We are trying to do our best to recover a normal life without thinking about candida every time we wake up.
By the way, I posted one time there, and one of them jumped over me very arrogant. He answered he knows I was wrong about probiotics no colonizing the gut forever. Well, if you claim to be a candida "expert" don't say it where people who have researched be because they will don't take you seriously. I was there to read, share, and participate but since there are things wrong because this forum, and the information thousands of people have brought here have demonstrated , I was obligated to contradict, and that caused his reaction. It looks like something such as Bee Wilder that doesn't allow anybody to contradict or tell anything contrary to her because you are banned. I am not interested in arguing, and when I am wrong (I have been many times ) I accept it.
