I was recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue because of the classic symptoms and also from the saliva cortisol tests which came just flat low. I was about to start an adrenal fatigue protocol, but then I decided to do a hair mineral analysis to look for a copper imbalance, which showed me quite high levels of mercury (3.0µg/g or 0.3mg/100g).
From what I understand mercury toxicity would impair adrenal function.
Would it be wiser to get the adrenals in better shape and then fix the mercury? Or the other way around?
