I think it is pretty insulting to imply or rather SAY that womens 'symptoms' are related to their diet, age, or lifestyle, or they probably have some undiagnosed disease, and that people shouldn't blame it all on Mirena. These women aren't idiots and hopefully neither are their Dr's. WE all know that Mirana is destroying a lot of womens health and lives, besides our own. (Is this person a sales rep for Bayer or something and works off commission maybe?) I mean read the forum and educate yourself, instead of just posting a bunch of replies that basically all say 'the mirena can't cause that, or 'you have something else'. There are so many women experiencing the same 'auto immune' symptoms plus countless other life altering/debilitating symptoms, which all presented AFTER receiving the Mirena. My 22 yr old daughter had the Mirena for 2 years and went from being a perfect, active, and healthy young women... to being in such chronic misery/pain, she can't even function most days. We know - yes we KNOW and have been told by our Allergist and Pain Specialist, that "something is going on here with the Mirena IUD" "GET IT OUT - there have been a lot of unexplained pain symdromes/auto immune problems being reported by women who have used Mirena". Mirena also said people with immune issues should not get Mirana, hmm wonder why? Of course Mirena wasn't in the top 50 things all the Dr's, Allergists, Neurologists, Gynocologists, Pain Specialists initially thought she had - they ruled out everything else from Multiple Sclerosis to Guillian Barrat, to Lupus, to Celiac, to Mastocytosis, and the list goes on and on, she's seen countless specialists and underwent MRI's, Neuro testing, Cat Scans, Bone Marrow testing, Spinal Fluid Taps, allergy testing and every blood/urine test you can imagine and she has had frequent and lengthy hospital stays. I think the reason it's so difficult for Dr's initially to name Mirena as the cause (no not becuase it's supposed to be safe), but because this is a new man-made condition/illness and not like anything Dr's have seen before. But yes it was the Mirena all along, no doubt, and I personally will continue to blame ALL of it on Mirena, because I know it's the TRUTH. Mirena is literally poison to a lot of women and can cause just about EVERY symptom under the sun, from hairloss to neuropathy, as to whether it's a result of Mirena's hormones or silicone etc who the heck knows (Bayer?) but it may be years before the medical community figures it all out and it's made public and banned by the FDA. Hang in there ladies, I know what a lot of you are going thru, I watch my daughter go thru it daily, and I pray for answers and healing for you all. No one deserves this, NO ONE. Tweet
