Re: Ongoing Severe Depression

Basket of Sunshine & Lolite, thank you both for your input and suggestions and experiences.

Yes, I am dealing with 'unofficially diagnosed' hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, am 60 pounds overweight STILL [but the fat is producing estrogen so how low can it be, right?], 10 years post menopausal, extreme fatigue and those are just the main issues other than severe depression. I am sure these are all contributing to the Depression on many levels and intensities.

I have access and insurance for the 'standard of care' docs, but that is all. No naturopaths or alternative health care providers within several hours of me. I also have cataracts that make it difficult to drive and my hearing is failing. I'm 'only' 60 years old! I've spent the past 10 years trying to get healthy but I feel worse now that ever. Yes, I've had all the 'standard' thyroid/hormonal/bloodwork done and all are 'normal'. HA!

Now with this Depression I feel like why not just take the drugs and if I die or go totally crazy, so be it. How pathetic is that?

Again, I do appreciate your suggestions and will consider them carefully and prayerfully!

Marci
