Take any green leafy veggie such as the following:
kale, collard greens, green leafy tops of beets, turnips, carrots, parsley root, daikon etc, spinach, romaine, arugala or other dark lettuce (not iceberg), watercress, parsley, swiss chard, celery, broccoli, bok choy, herbs like basil, mint, and so forth or any Asian market green or safe wild green like plantain (not the banana the weed), lamb's quarter, burdock, cleavers, leaves of berries. daisies, grape vines, purslane and so forth
Be sure to alternate every day or so as continual useage of one green can make you sick
To this in a blender with water, add any fruit you like for example, apples, grapes, pears, peaches, berries, dates, persimmons, citrus. coconut, mango, melons, plums, cherries, lychee nuts etc
With green smoothies they will last in fridge due to pulp with green juices one takes on empty stomach with no pulp and consume within 20-3o minutes so the vital elements do not dissipate and no food so they go to healing and repair and not mainly digestion.Chew the juice. if the pulp is not consumed with it even nonorganic is ok to use as all the pesticides etc are in the removed fibers and the juice repels them as oil to water.
If one is not juice fasting, and wants to consume pulp in a recipe do not consume that for 30 minutes or so
Do not underestimate the power of green smoothies and the more the better. Victoria Boutenko a 100% raw foodist who cured incurable ills in her family with her diet, now says she feels the green smoothies may be even more helpful for healing than the raw foods which I found interesting.
