I've done lots for chelation, including DMSA Cutler-style, but the best product I have found to work for me with the least side effects is Deep Cell Detox (http://www.regenerativenutrition.com/deep-cell-detox-p-105.asp), though I've taken it at a lot higher doses than they recommend, as I have with lots of chelators. I think I needed high doses because I needed the sulfur and the antioxidant effect as well as the chelation effect, and too much of the product would get side-tracked into the first two uses so I had to take lots to have some left for the actual chelation. I now take sodium thiosulfate (internally and in baths) for the sulfur, and Clear Way Cofactors seems to be the best antioxidant effect so far. So I now do not need chelation all the time like I used to, and lower doses when I do.

I like Dr Klinghardt's combo protocol for lyme, KPU, vitamin K2 problems, heavy metals, etc. called "A Treatment Guide: Lyme and other Chronic Infections". I think this really needs guidance from a health professional, though, because it really gets the detox pathways going gangbusters with major acid dumps that overwhelm the body, at least for me. I've since moved on to a combination of protocols including Buhner, Zhang, jernigan, and various other things to gently address Lyme (too aggressive assault causes way too much pain), gangbusters against Babesia Duncani, and most of all addressing getting rid of the toxins and other debri from the killing spree. I also do reduced glutathione and baking soda in nebulizer (per instructions from Dr Mark Sircus), baking soda taken internally and in baths, potassium bicarbonate in equal parts with the baking soda when taken internally. Toxins are acidic so working hard at alkalizing the body helps tremendously with pain from the toxins.
