Re: Microsilica

I use this and find it is the only thing that helps with both heavy metals and lyme toxins at the same time. My only other option is to combine cholestyramine and powdered zeolite, but then I have to take a laxative to make sure the cholestyramine does not cause intestinal blocking. Either option helps prevent the pain from the toxins from getting unbearable, though it doesn't eliminate them all together. My big problem is reabsorption of these toxins from the gut, so taking these products help with that, though it doesn't prevent it entirely (maybe I need to take them more often?).

I think BioPure's MicroSilica is the same product as QuickSilver's IMD. There is a little more explanation on the IMD's product (http://www.mhpvitamins.com/id147.html):

"The Intestinal Metals Detox (IMD) is a proprietary product that consists of highly purified silica carrier with covalently attached metal-binding groups."
