Re: pH (how long does it take
Well grz, I poke my head into the zone once in a while when I look for
information about things I might be dealing with and sometimes stay for a few
days before shaking my head and leaving again. I know from reading many of
your posts in the past that your are reliable and reputable so what I'm going to
post is not a rip at your reply per se, but perhaps a reply to so much of what I
see on this site.
I would never have made my response if this were a support group but because
it's a debate thread I put my tongue in cheek and made that response. I
did that because many months ago independently from researching zone posts I
read other scientific studies that basically says the more alkaline pH levels
that some try to achieve are completely worthless and I tend to agree with that
position. You make statements to the effect that as the body attempts to
make adjustments it has "costs" (I did not and will not read your
entire post). My question is - where does one find the scientific evidence
to support this? (As long as we are on the debate forum - in a support
forum I'd never question it.)
I don't worry about pH balance, never thought of it. I do adjust what I
eat/drink based on how my urine tastes. Have been drinking it for
years. Has provided me with many benefits, never lets me down, and once I
adjusted to the taste my body actually make great tasting pee. By the way,
for many decades medical doctors determined who had "sugar" diabetes
by tasting their patients urine so tasting it or drinking it has been a means of
medical diagnosis for many years.
I'll go back to the post you are responding to. All the readings that
the OP was getting were in the normal range. So what is the point of even
testing when we KNOW that a urine pH means nothing?
Don't take it personally grz.
