I noticed that too, Julian. Strange..
Fasting is supposed to cure, mental, emotional and physical issues, but my mind's symptoms have been made worse, the last few, (only have tried dry fasting 3 times, 2 days around each of the..) dry fast's I've done. I have heard from fasting folks, that symptoms get worse, when one does detox, (in fasting) they say it is part of the body healing itself..and call it a healing crisis. So, I am staying on fasting. I am sure, when the detox is complete, my symptoms will go away too.

I know, from what I have read on the forum, that you have heard of Filonov, that you translated his book, which I am reading, thank you. :DD

So you probably know a great deal more then I do on this subject. But this Russian fasting expert, said something, on his site, that is novel, for me, and in this gives (me) hope, for what we go through..
"During fasting (it) can sharpen all of your illness', (in this) do not be afraid of it, - any natural treatment is through (this) aggravation, the more hunger can always cancel, (this issue) without damage to health."

Guess, (as you already have learned,) the worsened state, he is talking of, is not just during the fast, but it is *also in the post fasting state as well, since the detox process is more active, after a fast then prier to it taking place). Seems like an oxy m*o*o*n to me. Strange a cure, is said to be through the disease feeling worse.. Funky..stuff. But NOT funny stuff.
Reading, listening, and following. Hoping this works..

I look forward to the day, when all the junk is out. No more symptoms, for you or I, period. Guess, that is the goal of fasting, having health, in full.

Right now, I don't have depression, I am having other bad vibes, fear, anxiety, etc. Yet, I have had it, and know how, it can be. I hope fasting, long term, helps you, in this. I really do. :)) Mental issues are the most uncomfortable detox to go through, so I have heard..

Man, that is a long time. I'm glad you have caught up, to where you were before. I saw, (on the forum), that you have read, Milena's story, (at http://polarlight.org/FastingInterview.aspx)
about how she was cured through fasting, from depression. And, for myself, I know fellow schizophrenia people, have been cured as well. Gives me hope, that such things can be fixed.

I know what you mean, after my water fasts, though short, it is so easy, to go off of the borders that are set up. I have done that too. Focus of mind and body, after a fast is hard to keep up. Guess, it's all about, getting back up when we fall. And keep on keeping on. Even when we lose sight for a time. Their is always another day, and more chances to get it right.

I have only fasted a few days at a time never the amount you have done. Sounds like you had great success in fasting, then needed time to relight and reset. Sometimes, breaks are what is needed. Body, and ones inner clock, knows what to do, and when it is ready. Course will power of working out helps that along.

That is smart council. I agree, exercise is king. But, got, (from mental illness) chronic fatigue, so exercise, though do able, on occasion, is something I am somewhat limited in. I will, monitor myself though Julian, and listen to my body, in what it tells me.


I'll pace myself.
Want to get to the finish line, get my life back, but gotta run, wisely, and not be an enthusiastic, "go get em," fool.
Running myself out, before I reach the last mile and the prize.

I am rooting for you. My we both cross the red line and finish the course.
