Re: How to dry fast? What are the dangers?
Dear Julian,
Thank you so much for writing me.
I've read the post from Milena, your right, lot's of great details there for me, to do this right. I have read her story, how dry has helped her, that is very encouraging, for a newbie.
I have for the last 3 months, been 100 percent raw, though last month and this month I have gone back to cooked vegan, with some raw added in, trying, (except on days when I break a fast,) for about 70 raw a day..
So, my kidneys, with what you said, should be ready.
Been doing 1-2 day water fasting, too, every few times a month, for about a year and a half, so, in this unintended "preparation", I should also be clean for this..
I will do that. Did a dry fast, a few days ago, was excited to get going, got mental illness, been struggling with it for 20 years, and heard from such folks, as myself, that (general) fasting has cured them..so want to get moving, with this powerful(dry) form of fasting, asap.
I noticed, while fasting for 2.5 days, that, I am usually weak, so rest sounds, good, but, I will try to do something physical when my body allows, next time around.
Ya, I think I was not as careful as I should have been. Ate, soy yogurt, soups, soft canned beans, juiced veggies, half the day, then ate soft foods, transitioning to harder foods at the end of the day. Think I should have stayed with soft..for 1 day at least. Intestines, are feeling a little bit bad..
I'll do that, taking a walk soon. :)
Don't drink, bad for my issue with the mind, and for religious reasons, too..
Great advise, bud.
I am, half way done with reading the posts.
Learning so much on this dry fasting forum.
So many comments..
Anne, is especially an inspiration.
Getting a dry fast education here.
THANK you for reaching out to me, despite being busy.
I needed this, thanks Julian.
It does help. :D
Best wishes..
Joseph
